Vengeance edm essentials vol.2 reddit3/10/2024 ![]() ![]() ![]() I mostly just produce because I'm bored though and have no friends. In terms of DAWs, I use Cubase primarily, FL Studio for resampling/sampling and slide notes, Live for playing with clips, Reaper for feedback routing and Renoise for sample manipulation when I'm bored. I guess everything by Native Instruments is pretty cool. I think that's all I really "need," although I throw in Massive quite a bit, as well as FM8, Absynth and Reaktor if I am bored or lack the inspiration. I try to make my own drum sounds but I'll usually mix it in with some EZDrummer, Superior Drummer or other random sample packs and manipulate it with mostly with stock Cubase plug-ins like its envelope shaper.Ĭytomic's The Drop and The Glue are excellent plug-ins and serve their purposes extremely well in my opinion. Bouncing a selection and importing it into Kontakt is a pretty big part of my process too. Similarly, FF Volcano, Timeless and Saturn can be used for similar modulation options to twist the sounds to your heart's content. It's great if you're into resampling in my opinion. It's capable of creating a good basis for neurofunk basses as well as squelchy leads. I love Fabfilter's Twin 2 synth because it's a really basic synth that is capable of crazy modulation and unison without much effort, and a simple and easy-to-use interface.
